MOVE TO ZERO is Nike’s journey towards a zero carbon and zero waste future. One of the biggest steps on their journey is choosing their materials, since they account for more than 70% of any product's footprint. By reusing existing plastics, yarns and textiles, Nike significantly reduces their emissions. Nike aims to reduce their carbon footprint by 65% in owned or operated spaces and by 30% across our extended supply chain by 2030.

Born out of Nike’s responsible design, the Nike Crater Impact is a modern shoe with a fresh silhouette, made from at least 25% recycled material by weight. The Crater Impact compromises nothing in style, while treading lighter on planet Earth thanks to clever choices reducing production waste — like an embroidered Swoosh, efficient overlays, and its recycled Crater foam midsole
